Today

I love being a mom
Sydney is so sweet and is growing up so fast. My parents asked each of the grandshildren to memorize something for them as a christmas present. So Syd and I have been working on the Song "I am like a Star shinging Brightly." She is so cute when she sings and she loves to sing. We are also working on Spelling her name.

Seth is also memorizing a scripture Mose 1:39. He is so funny because he really does have a great memory but he will start to get ahead of himself and he gets frustrated. When he messes up he will say let me do soemthing eaiser like Sydney. We are also working on learning our address and my phone number.

Chloe is the sweetest little girl. She turly is such a joy. She is sleeping great and growing, everything you can ask for in a baby. I am sure she a will give me some challenging moments in the future but it hard to imagine ever being mad at something so precious.

It's moments like these that make me so glad to be fortunate enough to be a mom that I wonder why I ever get overwhelmed....

oh the Dyer just beeped and Syd need's help on the potty, I think that sink is full of dishes and I am sure Chloe could use a diaper change and oh yeah I haven't even gotten dressed but being a mom is so AWESOME!

Ironic

So I have joined in and diecided to decorate my house for Christmas. Even though that meant taking down the real decorations that I just put up. However, I knew it wouldn't feel like Christmas if I didn't do it. So, as I was placing all the decorations around I relized that I have a lot of snowmen. For someone that hates being cold I thought this was kinda Ironic. So I decided to change my blog to appartnely reflect my love for the snow.

I'm Thankful!

We are still alive, life has been more than busy but good. Seth has transitioned well into all day pre K which I thought would be a challenge for both of us but it has been great. He loves school and his teacher. It is really nice having Sandra work at his school, I never thought I would be a mom that woul have a hard time letting her babies go to school. But it really is hard and having someone there with him makes it so easy. (Thanks Sandra for making sure he is taken care of.) So it is me and the girls all day. I feel like I haven't really had time to breath and everything is still not unpacked but I am looking forward to my sister and her family coming this next week and my parents for Thanksgiving.
Thinking of the Holidays I thought I would do a thankful post.
I am thankful:
for the gospel and the atonement.
for my husband he needs a kick in tha pants sometimes but who doesn't.
for my beatiful kids they are my life and I love them more than I thought possible.
for my home, I have learned that home is where the heart is.
for my health.
for naps, I don't get them often enough but they are wonderful.
for clean chlothes because that means that I don't have to do laundry.
for good books.
that my husband has a good job.
for the holiday season, I can't help but love this time of year.

Seth and Sydney Welcome Baby Chloe

I have a Five year Old!!

October 14th was Seth Birthday. He wanted to go to the "peanut place" aka Texas Road house for his Birthday dinner. We are plannig his big Five year Old party for later in the month after the baby is here, he has been a very patient little boy.

My Mom has been up waiting on baby to come and helping us pack. I really can't beielve my little boy is growing up so fast.

Things Seth loves: He loves school and has already got the pledge of alligence memorized, playing outside with the neighborhood kids, being a big brother(I am so glad that he really loves to help out his sister),playing games, spiderman...

Things Seth hates: Taking a bath, he prefers showers but doesn't really like either, waiting for anything, going to bed, eating veggies, picking up his room.
He told me the day after his birthday when Sydney wanted to watch Deigo that Five year Olds don't watch Deigo anymore.

Tooth Fairy Inflation!

Seth Lost his first tooth the other night. I can't beileve my little boy is growing u so fast!! When he showed me how loose it was getting I asked him if you wanted me to pull it out he said no but I already had it in my hand, it was barely hanging on. It has been loose for awhile so we have been talking about the toooth fairy when I asked him what the tooth fairy was going to give him he said I think 20 should be good. I remeber getting a Quarter sometime 50 cents. I thought a dollar was sufficent and he was okay with that.

Still no Baby!

Well, the patience is wearing thin but I am still trying to be in good spirirts. In the time we are preparing for the move. We have sold of few things like our big sectional couch and deep freezer. But the hardest thing to say goodbye to was Tico our sweet puppy.

Okay, I will be a little honest and say that I am grateful to have the responsibility any more but he really was a good dog. As we weighed the options of taking him with us we realized it wasn't practical considering we will be renting. Syd has been so confuesed about it and keeps saying... But it's my Tico! She cried a little this morning when she went to let him out and he wasn't there. Seth was very pratical about the situation and just said... Now he can't chew our shoes. I am also grateful for that. We were able to find him a good home with some friends who have three boys that I am sure will adore him. Fall is upon us and there is even a call for our first snow this weekend. I am so happy to leave the snow behind but it would be cool to be arounfd for the first snow as long as it melts. Hopefully our next post will be to introduce our new little one.

Trying to be patient!

This prenancy has really worn on my nerves. I am sure that it has a lot to do with the surrounding curumstances in our life aka the big move. I am however trying to be patient. I am learning that motherhood really pounds this viture into you. However, I am getting very excited to have a little one around, along with also being nervous about the transition from two to three little ones. Lately my kids have been preping me with having to get up at night. I am not sure why but for the past two weeks we have issuse with one or both of the kids and of course getting up 5 times a night to pee is really restful as it is. Michael's has been awesome and has even gotten up of few times without a request from me. (I am sure this is because I let him go hunting even though I am already at a 3 and could have gone into labor!) I have been struken witht the overwhelming feeling of how blessed I am. With all that has been going on in the econmomy lately I am so grateful that we have the means to live a comfortable life (even if that does mean moving to TN!!) Life has a way of surprising you but is so awesome when you can see the Lord's hand and know that it will all be okay.

OUR SWEET SYDNEY

Our little girl turns 3 tomorrow!! How the time flies. Syd is such a funny little girl she really has her very own personality and I can not wait to see the wonderful person that she is growing into.

Here are some insights on Sydney Marie Eaton

She loves... pink, to sing, milk, shoes, Tico (our dog), taking baths, getting dirty, swimming, her baby doll, Barbie movies, wearing dresses, playing outside, anything princess, animals/zoo, popsicles, books, stuffed animals....

She hates.... dropping Seth off at school, meeting new people, bugs, pickles (recently she thinks that they are on everything), her hair in her face, being woken up, when Seth and Daddy spank her bootie, when you call her panties "underwear"...

The cutest thing Sydney has been doing lately is when it is dark outside she says look up at that stars and then will say that's Daddy's Star. Then she will continue to point out stars in the sky for Me and Seth. The other night she gave me the moon.

She will always be our sweet Sydney even when she isn't so sweet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!

Change!!!

I have been avoiding posting this becasue I am still trying to come to terms with it myself. But we are moving to TENNESSEE!!! I know big news.

When Michael's boss passed away a few months ago we weren't sure where life was going to take us. We love Idaho and thought that we were settled for life here. But other plans were made. Michael was offered a position with a Catering company that he worked for as a teenager. The owner stays really busy speaking a conferences and wants michael to come be his partner and run things. Michael has always been really interested in the food industry. so after a lot of thought and prayer we both felt that this was an excelent opportunity for our family. So we put our house up for sell and it sold. I am so sad about this, I really love this house and was looking forward to actually bringing a baby home to a real home and not an apartment. We are lucky that we will not have to move before we move to TN. So we will still be here for the first few weeks but it's not exactally how I planned it. We plan to make the big move the first week in Novemeber. Life is full of surprises, which aren't always easy to except when your 8 months pregnant. So life continues to be very busy as we plan Two birthday parties, have a baby and decide on Halloween costumes. Both Seth and Sydney have been really excited about Halloween this year. I brought home some old Halloween costumes that my Mom had made when I was growing up and the kids have love dressing up in them.

Love

Michael and George in Mexico

Scott, Michael and George

Most of you have probably heard but here is the story. Last weekend Michael got a call and received the news that his boss and good friend George McDaniel died in a helicopter crash in UT. The news shocked him and they hadn't been able to get in touch with the family. I wasn't home at the time James and Kara were leaving for TN that night and I was getting ready for the goodbye party. Michael was as close as family with the McDaniel's. He met George at Sol Rio and became fast friends. If Michael wasn't to be found with is brother James he was off with George somewhere. I soon found out that the words "I am in a meeting" only half the time meant he was in an actually meeting the other half meant that he and George were goofing off somewhere. George was a great friend and will sorely be missed.

It is amazing how the spirit can teach in times of tragedy and it has been working upon my heart. In the mist of this tragedy I felt extremely blessed that my husband wasn't with George this day. He usually gets taken along on these adventures but because it was Jame's last weekend in town he didn't go. I am glad I have the opportunity to tell my husband one more time that I love him and that I am grateful for all that he does for me. I am grateful for the understanding that comes with the knowledge of the gospel and for the things that I learned from George and that is LOVE to take every opportunity to Love. To love life and the adventures that it takes us on. To not only love when it is easy but when it is difficult.

Last Day of Swimming Lessons

I guess her pony was bugg'in her!

Seth was complaining about the sun being to bright.

She looked so nervous but was so proud of her self.

Playing with Cousins!

I loved the summertime growing up and being able to go play with my cousins. It's so great they are like siblings that don't get on your nerves as much, at least most of the time!

Lauren and Syd are only 3 wks apart and they got along so great. It was a lot of fun to see.

Seth was the only boy, He took advantage of this.

Curly Sue!! I found some sponge curlers and decided to do the girls hair. I did think they would actually keep them in but they really liked it.

TOO CUTE!!

Eaton Update

Life is good. I love summer!! It seems impossible to be sad when it sunny out. I have a always loved the sumer time but after the perpetually long winter we had I am really enjoying this one. The kids are loving it also. They are in swimming lessons Seth is doing awesome and drives me crazy all morning asking if it time to go yet. Syd on the other hand she loves the water but is still very stranger wary. (I thought we were passed this stage but Sydney really doesn't like a lot of people first off.) The first day she would cry when ever the teacher would touch her. The second day she screamed pretty much the whole lesson. But on the third day (with a lot of bribing) she finally did much better. While Seth is anxiously waiting time to go Syd will say that she doesn't want to swim anymore. I still find it so crazy how different they are. Makes me wonder what number 3 will be like.
We had a great 4th with Kara, James and Elle. It is so fun that the kids are getting older and can enjoy the festivities. We went to a parade and down to the Green Belt to enjoy the booths there. The kids got there faces painted and enjoyed a little to much sugar, got to love a holiday. We were a little nervous about how Sydney would react to the fireworks because the night before when I few were going off she got scared. But she loved them. It was a great night and always a great reminder of how truly blessed we are to live in the LAND OF THE FREE!! Seth is at a very curious stage and kept asking questions like "Where is America?" And Why are we in the United States? I thought we were in Idaho Falls? It is very cute. Can be annoying because with every answer seems to come another question. Michael showed him a map to explain. I love that he wants to learn.
I have lost the cord to the camera but will post pictures soon.

Syd's Hair Cutt!

I have been debating for awhile now if I should cutt Sydney's hair. I finally decided to and it looks very cute I'm glad I did it.

Here are my 8 random facts I don't really have anyone to tag but here are mine.

1. I have been craving Chocalate Chip cookie dough. I can't get enough. Although I am trying to not go hog wild.
2. I hate doing laundary!! There is always more to do.
3. I miss the Sunny weather of good old California. I love hot lazy days by the water and that doesn't really happen in Idaho.
4. I am glad that my family has been farily health this year.
5. I look forward to Nap Time! I love the peace and quite.
6. Its so nice that Seth is getting bigger he has become such a big help. Yesterday, he vacumed for me and did a great job. It does make me a little sad to know that they won't always be little.
7. I worry too mcuh, tyring to work on this one.
8. I love back rubs!

San Francisco

Michael and I just got back from good old San Fransico. It brought back a lot of memories for me from my childhood. We had a lot of fun, even Michael did if he wasn't driving. We got the true City life experience. First, We got a big dooor ding in our rental car in that parking lot by the Wharf. Gratefully, we got insurance. Then, at my brothers place you have to drive around the blocks to find a place to park. The first couple of days we got pretty lucky but then it took us at least 25 mins cricling before we found something and it was pretty far away. Then the next morning when we going to get the car we were surprised to see so many spots open. Little did we know that it was becasue there was street cleaning that morning and we got a ticket. Least to say Michael hated driving in the city. Pepole are extremely impatient and love to HONK! Micahel, thought that they were all honking at him even though that was only the case half of the time.

Anyway, we did have a lot of fun to we went to Alcratraz and Walked around Fishermen's Wharf. Michael really liked all the seals on the docks at pier 39
Michael loved trying all sorts of food. Not really what I enjoy but he had fun time doing it. He had some lobster for the first time, I am not sure he was all that impressed. Over all it was a great trip but always nice to get home to the kids. I was grateful for family that watched them while we were gone.

Today we found out were are having a GIRL!! We are really excited, I will try to post the ultrasound picture but haven't figure out how to get it formated correctly.

Girly, Girl!

It has been an interesting week with Seth gone. I finally finished painting this cute doll house that Michael made for Syd, to store her toys. When we put it in her room and I showed it to her, I said what do you think? she responded "I don't know (pause) Wow! I love it!" It was very cute. She loves to put he swimming suit on and say I'm going swimming with Papa. Papa Wheeler that is, I think that she only thinks that she can swim in CA. It has been fun hanging out with her and enjoying her personality with out Seth around. She has been very protective of her brother things while he has been gone and will not let anyone play with them. She has also started sleeping in his bed while he has been away. I am not sure if she will want to give it up for him. He may have to take the top bunk. Sydney did a lot better with Seth gone than I thought she would. I think the puppy we recently got named Tico has been a great distraction. I can't believe that we have a dog. He is toy austrlian shepard and is actually a very good puppy. He doesn't bark which I love and he is great with the kids.
The kids named the pup after a cartoon charcter on Dora.

He really didn't want to stay put for the picture.

Life has been pretty uneventful and really quiet with Seth in TN. I am so glad that he has had a ball and talking to Mommy and Daddy has been almost torture for him. I realize that my little boy is growing up and that makes me a little sad. It will be intresting to have him back even though Michael and I leave the day after he returns to go to San Fransico. I will be a patient for my brothers Dental Exams. It will be fun to have a weekend with Michael even though it was like pulling teeth to get him to come but hopefully he will enjoy the weekend.
