Melt my Heart
"Mommy, I love you more than Christmas!"
That is what she told me this morning...I admit it made me cry!

Tis the Season
The Stockings are Hung
It really is so fun this time of year. I am loving it! I love thing feeling of love that has filled our home as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Savior. We have been reading a Christmas stories each night and I love it... they are all filled with service, love and even magic that make this time of year Wonderful! I am so grateful for my family they make everything more special. My kids are always surprising me with a good they want to be. Seth wants to give his money to any bell ringer that he sees or any donation box that we pass. He is always saying that we should give to others, he has such a tender heart and is truly special spirit,he is such an example to me each and everyday. Sydney, is doing the same... I think she just like to follow her big brother but that is okay he is a great example.
This year like for many people has been a year of many ups and downs. No job and then finding a job, Sick kids and a really sick Mommy...to say the least is has been a very interesting year and I am glad that I have this time to remember my blessings and the "gifts" that my Savior has given me. I have done a lot of wallowing lately... focusing on all the frustrating things that have gone wrong for my family this year. (I blame it on the winter..I need my warm sun..but I am learning to except that this to will pass.) I believe this is why Christmas is at the end of the year. What a perfect time to pull ourselves out of our own lives and remember what life is really about.

I love real trees..I grew up with them and love the memories of going and pick out the best tree bringing it home and with Christmas music playing the background...each of my siblings and I would careful place each ornament lovingly on the tree...there was No fighting our saying that one is mine it was always a picture perfect occasion....I am sure there was a squabble or two but there was the music and the real tree and the time together as a family. So you an imagine my heart break when I gave in to Michael and got the "Fake" tree last year. However, we still had the picture perfect occasion of being together as a family.

Winter
I have accepted it winter is here and with freezing temperatures that make it impossible for my feet to stay warm. Last night at the store Mike told the kids that they could get a treat. We were going to get ice cream but it is sooo cold and I said we have some at home...I know lame Mom...But the kids were demanding that they get there treat so Mike said okay I will give you some "Eye Candy". We drove over to a house that we knew would be decorated, it was awesome how excited they got. And on the rest of the way home we kept hearing look there is so more "Eye Candy". It was so funny! Hearing Syd exclaim "I love Eye candy!"

Thanksgiving
We were able to head over to my Sisters house for the Holiday. We had a blast! The kids loved playing with there cousins. I am glad that there is no drama to report of the trip. Chloe did awesome on the long drive there and back..she is not very fond of being in her car seat so I was very nervous but with the help of some of the pink stuff she did fine...(yes a drug my kids don't judge me :) Seth and Sydney did really well also. We stopped in Boise to see Charity and Sydney wanted to stay well...She called at around 11:30 saying she "Changed her mind and I needed to come back and get her." It was so sad I wanted to turn around and go get her. Seeing how we were almost home I told her we would get her the next day. We picked her up in Twin Falls yesterday and Daddy was happy to have us all back. It was a great week...but I really need to go find my house under all the mess brought in from traveling...Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Clo Bug
As my kids grow it is so interesting to watch them. They are all such unique individuals and even though I wish that I can freeze time and keep them little, I can't wait for what the future holds.
I really can't believe that this little girl is one because she isn't walking yet or talking for that matter, this girl likes to take her time.
Since the beginning and I mean the beginning she has not been in a hurry although she like to tease... Let me explain... For two weeks before her due date she tricked me into thinking that she was going to arrive early. Which was good because we were in the middle of a move but she was a "tease" and I still had to be induced to get her here in time to move. But she arrived with little trouble and she was an easy going baby, not to demanding.
Then for months she acted like she was about to crawl but she was just teasing and didn't until around 10 months. Don't get me wrong it was nice having her stay put but she was such a little "tease" getting up on her knees acting like she was about to move forward and them just sitting back up and smiling like "Not yet Mom I do it when I feel like it."
Well, I am glad that she likes to take her time! She is at a fun stage she is talking in her own language and the only real word she knows is "Hi" but her babbling is so adorable. She is not close at all to walking but true to her nature she will "tease" by standing up and smiling at you but she will not take at step for all the coaxing in the world!

She is obsessed with the toilet. I know GROSS! She loves to sneak in there and play in the water and loves to hear it flush...hopefully this means she will be easy to potty train. Wishful thinking?
She is still my best eater which should go against the universe...I was a horribly picker eater. This girl loves her fruit and veggies and will eat mostly anything.

October
October has been a busy Month.. I think that we are FINALLY well lets hope it sticks. It is starting to get cold and I know that this means the beginning of the long cold winter but it also means they beginning of the holiday season. (I am trying to focus on the later.) The kids are getting excited for Halloween and so am I. Halloween was my favorite holiday as a kid I LOVE candy! I am loving that my kids are at fun ages. Michael found out that he has to go to Utah for work on Halloween which sticks... but my good old Brother is coming to help with the kids so it should still be a good time. My parents were up this week and it was nice to visit with them. Except were we all sick most of the time. Anyway, thanks Mom and Dad for coming up, We love you!Halloween witches the kids and I made, they were a lot of fun to do.

Both Birthdays were a success... we are still battling sickness around here and it is getting annoying. I still have a head cold that I just can't seem to get rid of. I have and ear ache and I can't even remember the last time that happened.. Syd was throwing up in the back ground of the picture above...good thing Chloe didn't realize that is gross or she might have lost her appetite. Sydney was doing better but then started throwing up again today! Hopefully we can get healthy soon.
