What to do?

All day I am begging for a moment of Silence... now that I have it a feel a little out of sorts. It's just me and Chloe today and right now Chloe is sleeping. I am missing my little ones already. Sydney spent the night with Becky in Rexburg (she will be back later today) and Seth is on his way to Tn with Charity and Rob. My kids really do have the best Aunt's ever! I guess I do have a talk to finish and I am sure there are other things that I should do but I think that I might just did a little bit of nothing!

New Friend!

I couple of weeks ago Sydney was playing by herself and she was having a conversation. So I stopped to ask her who she was talking to:
Syd: "Kelly she is my friend from ballet class." (She doesn't go to ballet class.)
Me: "oh, are you having fun?"
Syd:" Yep, we are playing a game."
Me: I thought it was sweet but didn't think much of it. Then a few days latter I heard her talking in the car and asked if she was talking to Kelly and she said "Yes, but it's a secret!"
Then at Bear Lake I again heard her talking to her "friend" while swimming.
Today Kelly is not a secret anymore. She has been with us all day. She went to Wal-mart, played in the water and is now taking a nap with Syd. It has been so funny. She got so mad at Seth when he said something mean to Kelly. We will see if Kelly sticks around but it so cute to see her pretend.

We have been having lots of FUN!!

I love the water! Most who know me know this little fun fact... I love the water and the sun...(don't asked why I live in Idaho where I only get to see it like three times a year.) We have been doing lots of playing in the water and I love it!

My totally Sexy farmers tan is proof that I don't see the sun as often as I would like.

How can you not love this!

I love that my kids love the water!

Chloe hated baths for along time I thought that she might be my one baby that didn't love the water..she proved me wrong and loved the Bear lake... it was so cute!

However, she loved the sand more and just wanted to eat it!!

Sandra is visiting and it's been so fun...I love when family comes to visit!!

Summer Has Arrived!!

The sun was out and calling so I got the kids and we headed for the one and only Green belt. I hadn't been since we have been back mainly due to the rain. It was great, so I got the bread to feed the ducks with the kids. The ducks weren't that hungry so Syd ate most the bread, even though it was stale. Seth took the pic of me and Chloe he did a pretty good job. I really like those kiddos!!

This is how high the water has gotten. The river was moving so fast!

Happy Father's Day!

I have some really great men in my life that I am forever grateful for. My Dad is an amazing person. He is kind and generous, funny and easy going, he honors his priesthood and loves his family more than anything. I don't know what I would do without him he will forever be a source of strengthen and love to me.

My Father in Law is another amazing Man. I am grateful for the person he is and all that he taught Michael (not necessarily how to kill a pig but I guess that is a good skill to have.) His example has taught me the importance of learning for the Scriptures and loving the gospel.

I would be nothing with out him. My life is my family So thank you Michael for giving them to me. Thank you for taking the journey and learning everyday with me. I wouldn't want to do it with any one else. You are an amazing Man and Father.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!

Joys of Being a Girl

Sydney often requests that I paint her nails. The other day I said why don't we paint Chloe's too. Her eyes lit up with excitement and said REALLY? It was so cute. So, I forgot how hard it is to paint little toes. It got ever where but when I was done Syd said and you we are all girl's Mom. It was fun painting nails with my girls. I am sure it is the first of many sessions.

Here is a picture of Chloe (I know she looks like a boy and the blues doesn't help.) She is getting so big. She has started scooting on her bum it's so funny. She really hates her tummy so I have been trying to put her on it more, but it is nice having her stationary. She has been a Stinker lately and decided that she only wants to be rocked to sleep and is waking up way to early. She is a my cuddle baby and I have probably spoiled her because she is so easy to want to hold when she is sleeping.

And that's how it's done!

This is such a funny story of Seth. A few weeks back the Scouts came out to fish. Michael wanted to go, which, of course, meant that Seth wanted to go too. At first we didn't let him because he is very allergic to bug bites. But after awhile of him continuosly begging and pleading to go, we pulled out the bug spray, drenched him with it, and called Papa to come and get him. The scouts had already been at the pond for 20 minutes or so with out any luck at catching the little fishes. Seth arrived on site, got out his trusty Spiderman Rod and made a smooth cast out into the water. After watching his little bobber for a few minutes, it started to jiggle. Seth waited patiently, and when it finally went under Seth set the hook perfectly and snagged a fish. After expertly reeling it in, he looked over at one of the scout leaders and calmly exclaimed "And that's how it's done!!" That's our boy......a professional fisherman at only 5 years old.

Just a Thought

Today we had an awesome Stake Conference I feel truly Spiritually feed. Sometimes when I listen to conferences any conference I walk away feeling slightly guilty for not doing enough. This time however I came away with a little more understanding. I have realized that this life is... ready for it this is a big epiphany here....a Learning experience! I know big!! Sarcasm aside I realize today that I am not suppose to be doing everything. If the First day I become a wife a was prefect at it or the first day I became a mother I never faltered in my responsibilities I wouldn't be Learning. I now understand that when the spirit whispers to me "Amy, you should read your scriptures" it's not saying "Amy, you are so horrible for not reading your scriptures" It's my Loving Heavenly Father nudging me to do those things that will bring me closer to him. I see more clearly that I am loved by my Father in Heaven and that he understands me. This was definitely something that I need to feel. I feel for the most part I am an optimistic person. I take this life on Faith I have never really had trouble knowing that I would be okay through life challenges. Don't get me wrong I worry about my kids and my husband and life and what or where will will be next. But lately I have felt extremely negative the feelings of frustration and anxiety had pushed out my usually positive out look. But today the overwhelming love of my Father Heaven fills me and I know that I am learning each day I am trying to do better, be better and serve those I love better. So, We made it to Idaho, we found a place to live (our house still hasn't closed crossing our fingers for this week) Our ward seems good we have already had some visitors (not as good as Jackson I am sure but we will make do) The kids are great and they are the light of my life. Michael is staying busy and things are working out. I am blessed and I am grateful for all I have. Hope you all had a wonderful Sabbath!!

Don't Cry for me Tenneessee!

Life is hard but that is how we learn, right?? I sometimes feel the my troubles are soooo insignificant than most so I find it hard to really complain about my life because I know that I have it really great!! But at the same time I am coming to realize (usually during the irrational time of the month) that is is okay to feel. To be FRUSTRATED, ANGRY, SAD, and ANNOYED at life and life challenges. We are leaving TN and heading back to Idaho come Monday and I must admit that I am feeling all of the above. It has been incredibly annoying to have to pack up a barely unpacked house (gratefully because we were renting I left a lot in boxes.) I was more than skeptical when we were moving here and I told myself that I would make the most of it (but to honest didn't think that I would really like it.) I was pleasantly surprised with a great ward and some awesome girls to hang out with and of course family relationships that have grown more than ever since we have been here. Unfortunately, life threw us a curve ball and the one thing that was not working out at all was Michael's employment (kinda important). It became very apparent that there were too many "empty promises" made and that we needed to find other means of employment. Even though I am so sad to be leaving and find it so hard to think about resettling again (new ward, new girls to get to know ARGGG!!) I am grateful for the experiences that have made me appreciate life and especially family.

Sandra,
Thanks for being a great Sister in law and friend. Thanks for taking the boy to school everyday and taking care of all he school needs ( I will have to pay attention next year). You are the funniest girl ever!! STOP second guessing yourself and trust that you will make the right decision. STICK up for yourself and don't let people take advantage of your generosity, you are truly one of the most generous people I know. I love you and all the fun we have together. Can't wait until July. You will have the best birthday ever because you will be with me ( so that means it will be impossible to be sad). Love ya girlie!!

Kara Jo,
Your are such a beautiful and talented person. I really appreciate you and all you do for me. Thanks for teaching me Photography and starting me on a sewing kick (I never would have gotten stared) it has been so fun. I especially want to say thanks for always being a friend to me. I am going to miss letting the girls hang out. I love that they are developing such a close relationship, even though it is such a Love- Hate relationship. I know that the chances that we will live close when the boys settle down may not be possible but I hope that the girls will always be great cousins. I will miss you guys but am glad that I get to still see you when you come to Idaho.
Love you tons!!

Renee,
I am so jealous of all that you can do and still function. You are an awesome mother and great Aunt! My kids love going to Nae's and playing with your kids. Seth and Ginny have always been such great friends and I am glad that Sydney and Aubree got to bond. They play so well together. You spoil them too much and I thank you for loving them so much. You inspire me to think more of others by how much you take on and are always so willing to do. We love you and your family and will miss you all!!

Mamaw and Papa,
I really can't Thank you enough for all you do for us. I am so glad that even though the time was short that we were able to come and that the kids were able to bond with their Grandparents. Thanks for looking after us and making sure that we were taken care of. We have made some great memories that wouldn't mean near as much with out you in them. We love you and will miss you so very much!!!

So, I just wanted to say "Don't cry for me Tennessee!" I know you want too! We love you all!!

"Sisters, Sisters"
Sydney and Chloe are having more and more fun playing together. I saw them the other day having there first Tea party it was so adorable. (I tired to get pictures but they didn't turn out.)

Seth wanted to take this wheat home and make bread with it. He is always so inquisitive and asking what things are for. The other day we were driving and he asked what Lightning was made of and why? Each answer he has another question.

Happiest place on Earth!!

My Dad is the biggest kid I know and he LOVES Disneyland. He took us when we were in CA and the kids love, love, loved it! We even got to stay in the Grand California Hotel right at Disneyland. Thanks Dad for an awesome trip!!

Relaxing after a hard day at play!

Chloe at Pixie Hollow

Tea cups, I love to spin! I think it is relaxing but Michael hates it. So I get to take the kids on every ride. YAY!!!

The whole fam with Mickey

They got to go to Ariel's Grotto to eat with the Princesses. Syd was in heaven and barely touched her food.

Chloe's first Princess Pic.
It was an awesome trip to California. We also went the beach and even though it was chilly the kids had a blast. The trip ended up being longer than planned because my Grandma went into a coma. We stayed becasue it looked as though she would not make it.

Marie Accevedo Wheeler died on May 2nd do to kidney failure. My Grandma, Aublita, to my kids was a women unlike any other and especially not like any other Grandma. She was classy and spunky and was so excited to be returning to her husband Bryon after being separated for 7 years. The funeral was great and it was fun to see everyone. (We had sick kids and it was time to get home but it all went well and I was so glad that I was able to be there.)

7 Year Itch!

Oh boy I am scratching!! 7 years ago today in the beautiful LA Temple surrounded by family and friends I got the best gift ever an eternal companion. (I know so CHEESY!! But I had to say it.) I really think that I married the best guy for me. He will forever drive me crazy but then I am sure he can claim the same of me. It has been a great 7 years full of awesome memories and 3 beautiful children. I must say that the past year(years) has been a long one but has taught us some great life lessons.

1. The gospel is true.
2. Moving is expensive.(we are officially moving back to Idaho. I know crazy!!)
3. Life is to short to worry about things you can't change.
4. Living next to family is awesome. (We will miss you all and the free babysitting:)
5. Enjoy friendships while you can because you'll never know when you will have to say goodbye.
6. Kids grow up too fast!
7. Letting it go does wonders!(I have really worked on this I used to let thing fester.)

I love you!!

Update!

You Stink like Fish!!

Well, Life is still going... Michael is still looking for a job and our house in Idaho still hasn't closed (maybe we will move back into it, it is still ours). We are hopeful that something will come through hopefully sooner than later. (I am not sure how much longer I can handle having Michael invade my space. Husbands are definitely supposed to have a job otherwise marriage wouldn't last long:) I do know that having nothing to do is driving him more crazy than me though. I went fishing with Michael and Syd the other evening and I am proud to say that this city girl out fished the country boy. (And don't let him fool you by saying he wasn't trying :)

First bass caught all by himself!
The kiddos are all great Seth is still our silly boy and is getting so big. James gave him an Xbox and even though I was against doing the gamer things again the boys won out. Seth and Michael have had some fun with it together. I think that Seth will have some adjusting to do when Michael gets a job again. He has really enjoyed having his Daddy around to entertain him. He has been able to do a lot of fishing and both kids have really loved it. When he was reeling in the Bass he kept saying "A little help here." But Daddy wanted him to do on his own.

Syd behind Mamaw's and Pap's house.
(I've been practicing photography on the girls, it's so fun!)
Sydney is still a mess as usual. She is singing in the background right now and I can't help but smile. She is starting to look more and more like a big girl, She has had a a growth spurt and is getting so tall. She is still in love with her bunnies. Last week the neighbors dog got one of the bunnies in its mouth. Syd was so mad she keep saying "No puppy it's not food!" I couldn't stop laughing as I was trying to rescue the bunny. I am happy to report that 'Hot Milk' is doing fine and that there were no injuries to report.

Chloe has been very bad lately. (I have a sneaky suspicion that it is because her daddy likes to hold her.) She as learned the art of "I know your there so pick me up already!" She has two teeth on the bottom and loves baby food more than I can recall Seth or Sydney liking it. So far I think her fave is Squash but she really hasn't rejected anything yet. She prefers orange colored food but we are slowly working on the green stuff. She is at a fun stage where you can get her to giggle and smile.

Now we are off to good old CA for a visit, YEAH!!

How can I resist her?

Kara has been helping get more into photography, something I have always wanted to learn more about. I snapped these pics of Chloe today and Love it!!
