Seth Home!!

YEAH! My boy is home. He has been very sweet. He keeps telling me "Mom your just so glad I'm home huh?" I sure am. My Sister was also up today and I had made the girls tutu's they had fun playing in them.

Girly, Girl!

It has been an interesting week with Seth gone. I finally finished painting this cute doll house that Michael made for Syd, to store her toys. When we put it in her room and I showed it to her, I said what do you think? she responded "I don't know (pause) Wow! I love it!" It was very cute. She loves to put he swimming suit on and say I'm going swimming with Papa. Papa Wheeler that is, I think that she only thinks that she can swim in CA. It has been fun hanging out with her and enjoying her personality with out Seth around. She has been very protective of her brother things while he has been gone and will not let anyone play with them. She has also started sleeping in his bed while he has been away. I am not sure if she will want to give it up for him. He may have to take the top bunk. Sydney did a lot better with Seth gone than I thought she would. I think the puppy we recently got named Tico has been a great distraction. I can't believe that we have a dog. He is toy austrlian shepard and is actually a very good puppy. He doesn't bark which I love and he is great with the kids.

Life has been pretty uneventful and really quiet with Seth in TN. I am so glad that he has had a ball and talking to Mommy and Daddy has been almost torture for him. I realize that my little boy is growing up and that makes me a little sad. It will be intresting to have him back even though Michael and I leave the day after he returns to go to San Fransico. I will be a patient for my brothers Dental Exams. It will be fun to have a weekend with Michael even though it was like pulling teeth to get him to come but hopefully he will enjoy the weekend.

Quack Quack Quack!!

On Saturday I took the kids to go feed te Ducks! It was Sydney's first time and she was a little skeptical but soon got the idea. There were actually alot of geese around and they made me nervous becasue the would come up on the shore. Seth was really cute he found this one little duck and kept trying to through it some bread but the gesse would get it first he was getting so mad it was quite funny. I finally helped him reach the little guy and he said "He wouldn't be so hungry it the mean guys stayed away."

We did have a few nice days finally, but then we got some more snow. This weather is really crazy. I decided to not dewll on the fact that its May and we have snow( As you can proably tell I'm still a little annoyed). The kids love the park they don't seem to care if it's chilly. I just don't last long.

Giving Up the Wii!!

I couple weeks ago we had to suspend Seth from the Wii. He had thrown out a game becasue he got frustrated with it and thought that if he didn't have it anymore he would be able to get a new one. Well, I thought this would be a good time to try and teach him about the value of money. It's been three weeks and he is still obessed about when he gets to play the wii again. Forget about the lesson of money. Anyway, today we both lost it. He was begging to play and so I told him that if he behaved after naps I would hook it back up. I figured I had tortured him long enough. About 20 mintues later he tells me he is tried and is going to take a nap (he had only been awake for a hour). Anyway, to make the drama short. He got so upset when I told him that it wasn't time yet and I lost it because I was so sick of him losing control of a game. So we are getting rid of the Wii. I am a little sad it was fun to play and it was a nice distraction but I just can't seem to get Seth to understand that there are more things to do. I guess he is just to young to get it. Anyways, nice to vent to you all.

Sickness going around, YUCK!!

So Seth and I got the Bug. At first I though I was just pregnancy sick again but then Seth got it also so I figured it was the bug. The nice thing about be sick to was Michael had to clean up Seth mess and it was BAD!! All over his bed yuck!! Well, I thought he was all better and then we had another long night. He woke up complaining about his ear hurting. I while back this happened and it was because his ear cannal got so blocked with wax. So with a flash light we saw that it had happened again with the other ear. You would have thought we were torturing the kid the way he was sreaming. Gratefully I had some ear drops that softtens the wax and it took awhile but we cleared it up. Isn't being a Mom great throw up, ear wax, it's enough to make me sick all over again. I am not sure if he has something else becasue he has been complaining about his throat hurting and has a little temperature. But he is as always a sweet kid he just so practical Last night he just kept saying "I can't take it anymore." and "I am just having a really tuff time." It did makes us chuckle in the mist of be woken up one to many times.

Trip to TN

So Seth is so excited about visitng TN with Beck next month. Everyday he ask me if he needs to pack yet and then tells me how much he will miss me. It can really get on my nerves. I probably shoud have waited to tell him about the trip. Today I had to tell him that he might not be able to go if he couldn't be paitent. This did not go over well he told me that it would be nice because he just really needs to see Ginny. Cute, but I know he is going to have a blast. It really is to bad that it so far away. It would be nice to see everyone more often but I guess it makes the visits a little more special. I will miss the little bugger but I think that Syd will miss him the most. They have really become great playmates.

Games, Games and More Games

So Focused!!

Seth is obsessed with Games!! He loves them! All I hear all day "Mom can I play some games?" Anyway, he loves the wii, board games, card games, memory games, computer games etc. While Sandra was here she hooked him up to the wide world of internet games. It took me forever but I finally figured out where to go to let him play some on the computer. It is better if he plays the Wii though he knows how to work it and I don't get interrupted to help as much. He also loves borad games but gets mad at Syd when she doesn't play them right. He is at a fun age and getting bigger all the time where has my little boy gone!

Earings

When, sandra was here last friday she braved taking Syd into get her ears pierced! Michael, has been wanting to get them done but I said that I didn't want to take her and hear her scream. She is kind a panzy and doesn't take well to strangers, so I didn't think it would go over well. I guess the worry was for nothing she did a really good job and after she loved looking in the mirror at her Pretty ears and showing them off to everyone.

Lake Comedero, Mexico

I just got back from Lake Comedero in Mexico. It was a good time. My two largest fish were a bass that weighed 7.3 pounds, and one that weighed 10 pounds. It was a ton of fun. WE arrived in Mazatlan on Monday afternoon and made the three and a half hour drive to the "lodge". It was in the middle of nowhere. The satelite phone barely got any reception. We had armed guards with us the whole time. I guess that the lake is located in the marijuana capital of Old Mexico. There were fields of it all around the lake. We didn't have any problems with anyone though. We fished Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and headed home on Friday. To say that we were beat at the end of the trip would be an understatement. It is definitely a trip that I will do again though.

I really wanted to get some cute pictures of the kids and Kara Jo is dabbling in photography. They turned out really cute, I am excited to get some printed off. It was realy nice not to have a stressful photo session. The kids were so relaxed and cooperative. So I thought I would share a few with everyone.

Seth's new thing is that he is a Man like Daddy. While Michael was gone he kept saying "I am the Man of the house, Daddy said."
