My Birthday Month

So Sandra put what her birthday month says up on her blog and I was so curious what mine would say so I looked it up and here is an incite into Amy.....

Likes to criticize (I wouldn't say likes. That make me seem like a enjoy making people feel bad. Again I just notice things and think that people maybe aren't aware of them.)

Calm and cool (I do feel like a I am very calm person I really don't see the point of getting to worked up over things; especially when most things are not in our control. )

It's Been awhile....

I haven't done a Journal Post for a bit so...

Life is good, I am extremely blessed!

I have the three best kids ever and they are all growing, happy, crazy kiddos.

Seth can now write all his letters, Most of his numbers and can't wait to learn how to read like his big cousin Ginny. Each week at school they go over a letter and he is so good and finding words the start with the letter. He is so excited for S week because of course Seth, Sydney and Sandra all start with S. He is also very athletic; it is really fun watching him grow up. He has the kindest heart of any little boy. He is always thinking of others. He is the best big brother and is so protective of his sisters, it is so adorable. He doesn't even like it when Syd gets in trouble. He will always says "but Mom she is just learning, give her one more chance", it is hard to resist him when he sticks up for her, it so sweet. They still play so well together and I love to see how much they love each other. He is such a great help with Chloe when she is fussy he is so good and will sit and talk to her. I love you Seth Boy!!

Sydney is all girl and I love it! She loves Barbies and dance suits, princess and makeup, dresses that spin and pink and purple. She is growing out of her shyness and loves to play with other little girls. She can spell her name and sing lots of songs her favorites are popcorn popping and Twinkle Twinkle. She is still a Momma's girl and I will sure miss her when she starts school in the Fall. She is a sassy little girl that I am sure will give us one wild ride when she is older. She is so sweet and tells me all day long Mommy I so love you! I will miss the day when those words stop coming so often. Syd, Mommy so loves you the most and I said it first!!

Our Baby girl Chloe. I love how with each child your learn to enjoy them so much more and you don't wish away their baby years. Chloe is my little love bug. She is full of smiles and loves to be around people. She has started on cereal and is so funny to watch her learn to try to swallow instead of spitting it out. she is sleeping fairly well at night and she loves to watch he big brother and sister. I just don't have many complaints about my baby girl it's hard to imagine life with out her. I love you Clo Bug!!

Seth is in soccer. He had is first game this weekend and he did so well.

I love hearing about all the funny things Seth says in the car with Sandra to and from school. The other day on the way home they had his friend in the car with him Seth was talking about how we should eat health and he also told his little friend that we should not drink Alcohol. His friend said why not? Seth said I guess it just has a lot of sugar. Hey at least he knows we shouldn't drink it.

OOpps!

Yesterday my silly girl stuck a watch battery in her ear!! She came to me an said oopps mommy my ears stuck! Luckily Michael and I were able to get it out with out taking her to the doctor. She is such silly girl so far she has stuck two things in her ears and something up her nose. Seth never stuck things anywhere. You think you know kids and then they always find ways to surprise you.

I realize that child number three gets a little less. I must admit there haven't been has many pictures taking of Chloe but the ones we have are so cute it makes me want to remember to grab that camera out more often. We blessed Chloe Virgina back in November and these sweet pics were taken in December by Kara (thanks again for all the awesome pictures). This week was a fun week with Chloe she found her voice and is cooing all the time. she is such a happy smiley baby its hard to not want to play with her all day because whenever I walk by her she will smile and start talking to me, I just love it!

Chloe loves her hands they are always in her mouth. She is the first of my babies to do this so I think that it is funny. But it looks sooo cute.

One Proud Daddy!

Today was a good day. James and Kara came up yesterday and today we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. It is definitenly the place where a kids can be a kid. That included Michael and James. They should not go to vegas they would loss all their money for sure. Afterwards Michael wanted to take Seth Squirrel hunting. It was a chilling evening but they bunddled him up and headed for the woods.

If you had asked me when I was younger if I woul be raising a little boy the would be holding a twenty two and going out into the woods at age five. My response would have been " Why would he being doing that?" to hunt Squirrel of course.

Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!

I know that it's a little late but I live by the philosophy better late than never!

Then we headed to California to welcome home Elder Wheeler from his mission. The flight there was long and delayed. We ddn't get in to CA until 3 Am. But it was worth it.

More pics to come... Chloe is getting bigger everyday. She is a happy baby and full of smiles. Sydney is having fun with all her new toys from Christmas and thinks that it is time to do it all again. Seth was a big help as always to me on the flight home with all three of them by myself. It went really well. so well that I will actually do it again. (I was nervous that it was going to be a mess.)

Today

I love being a mom
Sydney is so sweet and is growing up so fast. My parents asked each of the grandshildren to memorize something for them as a christmas present. So Syd and I have been working on the Song "I am like a Star shinging Brightly." She is so cute when she sings and she loves to sing. We are also working on Spelling her name.

Seth is also memorizing a scripture Mose 1:39. He is so funny because he really does have a great memory but he will start to get ahead of himself and he gets frustrated. When he messes up he will say let me do soemthing eaiser like Sydney. We are also working on learning our address and my phone number.

Chloe is the sweetest little girl. She turly is such a joy. She is sleeping great and growing, everything you can ask for in a baby. I am sure she a will give me some challenging moments in the future but it hard to imagine ever being mad at something so precious.

It's moments like these that make me so glad to be fortunate enough to be a mom that I wonder why I ever get overwhelmed....

oh the Dyer just beeped and Syd need's help on the potty, I think that sink is full of dishes and I am sure Chloe could use a diaper change and oh yeah I haven't even gotten dressed but being a mom is so AWESOME!

Ironic

So I have joined in and diecided to decorate my house for Christmas. Even though that meant taking down the real decorations that I just put up. However, I knew it wouldn't feel like Christmas if I didn't do it. So, as I was placing all the decorations around I relized that I have a lot of snowmen. For someone that hates being cold I thought this was kinda Ironic. So I decided to change my blog to appartnely reflect my love for the snow.

I'm Thankful!

We are still alive, life has been more than busy but good. Seth has transitioned well into all day pre K which I thought would be a challenge for both of us but it has been great. He loves school and his teacher. It is really nice having Sandra work at his school, I never thought I would be a mom that woul have a hard time letting her babies go to school. But it really is hard and having someone there with him makes it so easy. (Thanks Sandra for making sure he is taken care of.) So it is me and the girls all day. I feel like I haven't really had time to breath and everything is still not unpacked but I am looking forward to my sister and her family coming this next week and my parents for Thanksgiving.
Thinking of the Holidays I thought I would do a thankful post.

I am thankful:

for the gospel and the atonement.
for my husband he needs a kick in tha pants sometimes but who doesn't.
for my beatiful kids they are my life and I love them more than I thought possible.
for my home, I have learned that home is where the heart is.
for my health.

for naps, I don't get them often enough but they are wonderful.
for clean chlothes because that means that I don't have to do laundry.
for good books.
that my husband has a good job.
for the holiday season, I can't help but love this time of year.

Seth and Sydney Welcome Baby Chloe

I have a Five year Old!!

October 14th was Seth Birthday. He wanted to go to the "peanut place" aka Texas Road house for his Birthday dinner. We are plannig his big Five year Old party for later in the month after the baby is here, he has been a very patient little boy.




My Mom has been up waiting on baby to come and helping us pack. I really can't beielve my little boy is growing up so fast.

Things Seth loves: He loves school and has already got the pledge of alligence memorized, playing outside with the neighborhood kids, being a big brother(I am so glad that he really loves to help out his sister),playing games, spiderman...

Things Seth hates: Taking a bath, he prefers showers but doesn't really like either, waiting for anything, going to bed, eating veggies, picking up his room.

He told me the day after his birthday when Sydney wanted to watch Deigo that Five year Olds don't watch Deigo anymore.

Tooth Fairy Inflation!

Seth Lost his first tooth the other night. I can't beileve my little boy is growing u so fast!! When he showed me how loose it was getting I asked him if you wanted me to pull it out he said no but I already had it in my hand, it was barely hanging on. It has been loose for awhile so we have been talking about the toooth fairy when I asked him what the tooth fairy was going to give him he said I think 20 should be good. I remeber getting a Quarter sometime 50 cents. I thought a dollar was sufficent and he was okay with that.
