Busy Summer!

We had a great time on lake Powell with my family. The weather was perfect! The kids had a blast playing with their Wheeler Cousins. Seth loved going Tubing and Sydney even surprised us with wanting to go down the water slide all by herself!! It was fun to watch my kids doing things I loved to do growing up. Chloe loved the water and playing the the sand on the beach. She didn't even mind having her life Jacket on...I was a little nervous that she was going to put up a fight. She even went on the jet Ski with Uncle Brent and was all smiles. It was so cute!!
We are now in TN... when we got here we realized our Good friends from Idaho were in St Louis. So we hopped back in the car and drove over to see them. The kids were so excited to see Skyler and Kenlee. We meet up at the St Louis Temple and enjoyed the grounds before heading to dinner. They got to go Swimming and Seth impressed us all with how well he can swim without a life Jacket. The next day we went to the Waffle House for a Southern breakfast experience. We were also able to enjoy seeing the St. Louis arch and museum. We took the kids to a Splash park and then headed back to Jackson.
We have lots of Fun things going on now with the Eaton Cousins. My kids aren't going to now what to do with them when we have to go back to not having all the cousins to play with. I am getting anxious to start life in Provo but glad that we get to spend a lot time with family this summer.

I know that a day could come where they will want nothing to do with each other...I hope that they will always be close but just in case it is officially documented that they liked each other;)

Days to remember...

My Kids love to have friends over to play and it really is nice for me to they stay out of my way and I can actually accomplish a thing or two. It is sad that our time in Idaho is ending again...who knows we might me back before it is all said and done. Once again we have to bid farwell to friends and Seth is not pleased at all about this. It is going to harder to move has they get older.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Life has been busy...we are moving out of our Apartment for the summer at the end of the month. We did a yard sale this past weekend and it was a success. It was a beautiful day and everything went better than expected. I had some friends join me and we had a good amount of stuff for sale. Seth and his friends Skyler and Jordyn had a little snack stand selling water and chips. I should have taken pictures... Seth even had a sign on his bike and he would ride it up and down the side walk. We are getting excited for the summer and being able to see family. I am a little nervous about living out of a suitcase for 2 months and I am not looking forward to having to retrain my kids when the summer is over. But it will be an adventure and we will be making some good memories. Sydney has her dance recital this week and she is getting excited.

Eight Years

Sometimes I sit and wonder when life's trails will ever cease the road of life is rocky but with you it is never too steep! My Pillow soaks the tears of life's heartaches I though I hid away.

In the long forgotten hours when the sun has gone away. And the only comfort I can see comes from the stars above. Then comes along one special friend that countenance shines with love and comforts my aching heart with blessings sent from above.

I really couldn't have asked for someone better to go through life's journey with thank you for you patients and love!

Short & Sweet!

My Parents came up for a quick visit this weekend. The kids we sooo excited to see them. It will be nice to be a little closer to them when we move. We just got to hang out together, it was really great. Wish they could have stayed longer : (
Seth showed Nana what an awesome reader he is and Chloe had Papa reading this book over and over again.... this little girls loves books and her Papa!

My Brother Brent and I got Mom her mother's day Present and the kids were excited to help her open it. We love you Nana & Papa come again soon!

Sunny Days

The Torman family a match made in heaven. Seriously, it stinks that we found this family right before we are leaving: ( Our kids are the same ages Mac is missing in this picture and he is a little younger than Chloe. The best thing is there parents are awesome to.

This is Chloe on top of bread in the back of Mikes truck. He is going to try and get a Bear this spring so he has been getting bread from the discount bread store.

Life is good here at the Eaton's. I really can not beileve that we are moving again so soon...in June. Packing and living out of Suitcases for two months. Should been and adventure. But the kids can''t wait to spend time with cousins. We will be going to Lake Powell with my family and then Plan to head back to the South.

Just yesterday Sydney said "When we move to Tennessee do I get to take all my Barbies?"

Me: We aren't moving back to TN.
Syd: Yes, we are.
Me: Sweetie, we are moving to Utah so Daddy can go to school. We are just going back to TN to visit everyone.
Syd: with her I am so mad face. "You are mean!"

Our Little Girl

Some facts about Chloe:

She Loves Books!
She Loves to get her nails painted..she holds really still for you.
Favorite candy are M&M's. She gets so excited when she sees them.
She calls me "Mom" not Ma ma and She calls Dad just "Da"
She adores her sibling and when she is in trouble she will run to he Bubba for some loves. She wants to be just like Sydney and will even want me to dress her in Syd's clothes.
She has to have a spoon when she eats and she does really well with it.
She gives the best loves!

Just some thoughts...

I was realizing today how good life is...I am sure this has a lot to do with the fact that it reached 63 degrees. It was wonderful! I swept out the garage while the girls rode around in the drive way. I love a clean garage, especially after a long winter when it is impossible to keep clean. I love the sound of my kids playing together and they do really love each other. The girls adore their brother and he is so good to them. It always amazes me what a great big brother he is. Sometimes, I feel bad that he doesn't have a little brother but he doesn't seem to mind. (Maybe, we will have to try to get another little boy around here soon;) Not an announcement just a thought got to get mike on board.

I got to do some photography this past weekend. It was my first wedding with out Kara Jo...I was nervous but I had a photographer friend come help me out. She is awesome! Poor Chloe is getting like 6 teeth in right now. She has also been showing interest in the potty. I know crazy she is only 18 months. I am not holding my breath but I do try and get her to go in the potty. We have had some success. Her personality is coming out more and more she can be such a little flirt. She will give strangers the silliest smile where she will squint her eyes and scrunch up her nose...have yet to capture it in a picture but it is so funny! She thinks that she can keep up the big kids but is also a real Momma's girl...I think this has to do with the teeth coming in. We adore her around her and it think she knows it;)



I can't believe it is April already. Seth keeps telling me that he doesn't want to move anymore and that Dad should just get another job and not go to school. It is getting harder to move now that they are getting older. I feel bad that he has to go to another school. I know that he will be fine but he has made some great friends here. Blake, Dallin and Skyler are his best friends. We always tease him that Skyler is his Girlfriend. We love her, she is adorable and her parents are awesome! I think we need to bring back arranged marriages and get these to together in 20 years;)

Seth's Kindergarten Class

Mike is out of town again this week in TN this time. It has been a learning experience having him out of town so often. Even though it has gotten a little easier... I hate it! The kids miss him and I miss him more!!! Syd often tells me that I am not the Boss. Only daddy is. He often tells me it is worse for him. But it still stinks having him gone. He is awesome though, he would do anything for us we are very lucky to have him...Miss you Hun!

Easter

I love this Crazy Little girl...I love that she wants to stay little. The other day I took Seth to school and asked Sydney if she wanted to start school her response:
Syd: " No I am going to stay home with you and Chloe forever."
Me: "Don't you want to go and learn and make new friends."
Syd: "Mom, I already have friends and if I need more I can make them up anytime I want."
She still has her two imagination friends Kelly and Courtney and apparently she is okay with never going to school and staying home with me. I am okay with that too. It will be a sad day for me when she is doesn't need me anymore(sniff).

We had a great Easter..I dyed eggs with the kids while Mike was a priesthood it was a lot of fun...I was nervous... Miss Sydney spills everything and I mean everything..She is worse than Chloe. But we made it through without any mishaps. I added vinegar to the egg dye and it made the colors turn so bright. Chloe like to suck on the eggs....yuck!

The Bunny came to hide the baskets and the kids woke up way to early to find them. Sydney got a tinker bell umbrella (her other one broke and she has been asking for a new one for ages.) She was very glad that the Easter bunny knew she needed one and she got Thumbellina from Becky. Seth got a How to Train your Dragon T-shirt (something he has also been requesting to get) and some cars from Becky. A boy can never have too many cars. So, I saw the cutest little Cabbage patch doll dressed as a bunny that I picked up for Chloe thinking that she would adore it. She took it and threw it down... she hated it! I was sooo disappointed. She has now warmed up to it but it wasn't the first reaction I had in mind. I guess two out of three isn't bad. Charity also gave the kids a cake decorating thing kinda like easy bake oven. (They really have the best Aunts ever!!)We had a great Easter Sunday and enjoyed listening to conference. I feel an even greater desire to be a better Mom. I mean look at them wouldn't you want them Forever... I sure do!

Craft Happy!

I have been staying up way too late but at least I have something to show for it...I have been in need for a pin cushion and I saw this pattern and I forgot to save the sight but it was very easy to do...my friend Kacey came over the other night We rented did you hear about the Morgans..not really sure if it was very good or not... we talked a lot:) But we also made these cute Easter bunnies...so fun!!

Isn't she a doll..I think so!! I made this little dress for her...I took the top half of a shirt and sew the skirt around the bottom...This little things still won't talk much...But I have a feeling that she is just messing with us and knows exactly what she is doing. She is still only 20 pounds, is in 12 months clothes and wear only a size 3 shoe...She went to nursery on Sunday it is a few weeks early but we teach and she is getting harder to keep in control. She looked so tiny in there I thought the other kids were going to beat her up! She loved it though and I was glad.

SPRING!

The weather has been awesome lately, I am trying to just enjoy it...I am sure we will get some more nasty weather but for now the sun is shining and it is wonderful!

The Trip.

Getting back into the swing of things as been a little challenging. It is nice to be back with the family although Mike has to leave us yet again for work next week. I think we are getting a little too used to separation; ) Just kidding I and the kids will miss him a ton!!!!! So here we are... my Trip was AWESOME get ready for picture overload!!!

So Sweet!

I often find these two in the same bed together. Tonight Chloe started fussing so I went down to get her and looked in and saw them in the same bed again. When I had tucked them in separately (yes, they are on he floor we old Seth's bunk beds we didn't want to move them again.) We ordered the girls a bed and figured Seth can use our old Queen for now. I am not so sure he will be willing to give up his roomie :) I bet he will end up sleeping in her bed with her most nights! I love that they are close.

Where to begin...

Well...it was awesome! The weather kinda stunk some, a little over cast some days, but overall I got some sun,spoiled by my Dad and some much needed girl talk. I can't complain. I got back to a clean house the laundry folded and No dishes in the sink...why don't I leave more often right?! Thank you a million times over Diane for watching them they had a ball. They have been talking about coming to Tennessee all day.
Sydney asked tonight "Mom why did we have to leave TN?
Me: "Daddy didn't have a job anymore so we had to move."
Sydney: "But it just stinks!"
She continued to say how unfair it is that she doesn't get to play with Elle, Aubree, and Ginny and that it makes her want to cry. So Sweet! We love family!!!
I got back to life and was not ready for it. I have had a "Vacation Hangover" and it has been hard to get back into the swing of things. And this week has been packed full We had something going every night.
Let's started on Mon: the longest travel day EVER started in Florida at 5am (3am Idaho time) Got to Vegas plane is late wait, wait, wait... get to SLC at 3pm missed shuttle(after I ran to try and catch it). Get on shuttle at 4pm. Finally arrive in Idaho Falls at 7:45pm. Didn't get to bed until 11pm....TIRED!

Tues: Seth had wrestling; Sydney and Daddy had dress rehearsal for her recital (it was a Daddy daughter dance),

Wed: Syd had another dress rehearsal for the jazz number,
Chloe watching Sis..She has also become quite the little dancer.
Thurs: We had a birthday party at Leo's. Which the kids had a blast but I was exhausted after chasing Chloe all night (she thinks she can keep up with the big kids).
Fri:We had everyone up for dinner because it was Mamaw's last night in town. This meant a trip to the Grocery store with three kids...good times. The dinner was great and nice to have everyone up to visit.
Sat: Mamaw left us this morning tear, tear....I am glad that she stay some extra time. It was nice to have her around (and not just for the benefits of the folded laundry). Sydney had her recital so I spent the day tearing my house apart looking for the dance shoes...couldn't find them so had to run to the store. I also couldn't get our video camera to charge and mike couldn't figure out the issue either Frustrating!! I need Sunday!!!!
Sydney and Daddy did great on there dances and it was sooo fun to watch! She was so excited and didn't get nervous at all. We were able to borrow a friends camera I will post the video soon. Lastly her is a few pics of her today...
