Giving Up the Wii!!
I couple weeks ago we had to suspend Seth from the Wii. He had thrown out a game becasue he got frustrated with it and thought that if he didn't have it anymore he would be able to get a new one. Well, I thought this would be a good time to try and teach him about the value of money. It's been three weeks and he is still obessed about when he gets to play the wii again. Forget about the lesson of money. Anyway, today we both lost it. He was begging to play and so I told him that if he behaved after naps I would hook it back up. I figured I had tortured him long enough. About 20 mintues later he tells me he is tried and is going to take a nap (he had only been awake for a hour). Anyway, to make the drama short. He got so upset when I told him that it wasn't time yet and I lost it because I was so sick of him losing control of a game. So we are getting rid of the Wii. I am a little sad it was fun to play and it was a nice distraction but I just can't seem to get Seth to understand that there are more things to do. I guess he is just to young to get it. Anyways, nice to vent to you all.

Ooh, how much are you selling it for? Are you just going to put it up for auction on ebay? We've been thinking about getting a Wii, but I'm not sure now's the right time for us to with a move and just starting a job and all, otherwise I'd say name your price and we'll take it off your hands!
How sad. He must be a boy...boys seem to lover to play games. Have you thought about it putting up for a couple months? I suppose you have to do what you have to do.
