The Best Experience ever!

He is Eight! When and How did that happen?! He was the first to make me a mom and with that came so much growing together. He has made me want to be a better person. He is the best kid ever and I really don't know why I was so lucky to be chosen to be his Mommy. I am so humble by the spirit that he has. I hope that I can give him all the knowledge he needs to reach his potential.

Seth's Buddy Jack Mcinelley. Jack thinks that Seth is the Best Guy ever and Seth loves how much he looks up to him.
Seth's Primary Teacher
I was so overwhelmed with the love and support by all those who were able to come support Seth. (in person and spirit we know all the Eaton's would have love to be here). It made Seth really feel how very special the day was. This was another experience that has testified to me that we are supposed to be here in Provo and I am so glad that we have met all these wonderful Families they have change my life forever!
Brooke and Chris Fransworth, Lisa and Scott Cole Emma Mike Mcinelly, Mandy and Mike Kralsven, Jen and Dominic Anderson
I am so glad that Seth made the choice to be baptized and I am so grateful for the spirit that was there on this special day. I know that we will never forget it.

Dear Seth,
You are so very special to me and Dad. We are so glad that we get to be your parents and are grateful for the person you are. You try so hard to Chose the Right and to always think of others. I hope that you will always try to be this way. You are so very smart and live close to the spirit. Your just plan Awesome! We love you!

Where has the time gone?

When did it get to be September?

I feel like we have hit the rode running since we have been back in Provo. All the kids are in soccer and have school. Seth and Sydney love there teachers this year and are having a great time in school. Seth was sick last week and said that missing school was so disappointing! Chloe is doing a Co-op Preschool with some friends from the ward and she Loves it especially when it isn't Mom's turn to teach. I can't beileve how grown up all my kids are getting Sydney just had her bday and Seth is almost 8. I am feeling old or older at least.

Sydney's First Day of Kindergarten. Her teacher is Mrs. Porter and he new friend is Emma:)
Sydney at soccer
Chloe At MBSA soccer
She is so dang cute! She loves that she gets to play soccer like Syd and Seth.
Group of Fellow MBA's Hiking the Y (not sure what I was doing my smile is a little crazy)

I feel like Emma and I need to go blond:)
Mike and I at the football game. It was a sad loss but a fun night and a beautiful sun set! We had great seats too.

The Girls were all in Pink one Sunday so I had to get a picture. The other day while sorting laundry I had to chuckle because I sorted it into the following piles: Whites, Darks and PINKS! I love my Girls.
Clarie Dixie 7 months. I can never get her to smile for the camera but she is actually a very happy Baby! She is getting so big to fast I wish I really could slow time down so I can enjoy her more.
Sydney turned 6! She is such a beautiful girl inside and out! I love her sweetness and how hard she tries to do the right thing.

We have been very blessed and Mike's hard work has paid off and he has gotten a few offers to work next year: Honeywell, General Mills and Kellogg. Now we just need to decide which company to go to. We feel so fortunate and blessed with so many great opportunities!

I have a feeling life is only going to get busier, that is a little scary! I hope that I can keep up with it;)

Trip to TN

Dear Seth and Sydney,

Oh, How I have missed you two while you have been away! I am so glad that you got to go have fun in TN but it just wasn't the same here without you. Mommy never realized what great helpers you are. It amazes me how much your little sisters missed you and needed you. I love that Chloe has prayed for you every night while you have been away and that she will say that Sydney is her Best Friend. I hope you will always be close. Seth you are such a great big brother your sisters are so lucky to have you there to watch out for them. Claire has been so sad in the car without you helping her out. So glad we get you back today!

All my love,
Mom

A new experience

If you know Mike at all you know that he is a country boy. I have been trying to "civilize" him and trust me it hasn't been easy. A few examples of this is he hates traffic any traffic and he calls three cars in front of him traffic; just kidding on that last part. He also hates crowds. So when we were planning on going to New York City you can say we were both a little nervous;) Mike didn't want me to bring in my nice camera having our hands full with the kids. So he picked me up a camera at Costco. It was disappointing that it didn't always work right but as I looked through them again there are more pictures than I originally thought.
Here is our day in the city.

We were told to take the Staten Island Ferry over because it goes right by the Statue of Liberty and it's free (nothing is free in the city)

We had a little lesson on the Statute of Liberty and Ellis Island before we went.
They loved the boat ride and talked about how it reminded them of the house boat at Lake Powell

Once we got into the City our plan was to go to the National History Museum. Now the tricky part was how to get there. We asked a security guard if you need a car seat for infants in a Taxi and she had No idea. We figured it probably didn't matter. It was after all NY. So mike hailed a taxi and we rode it over to the museum.

The kids were really cute in the Cab

We made it ;) The cab ride was full of excitement and they don't slow down even with children in the car!
Here is where some of the pictures aren't the best.
Claire did fantastic, she still surprises me on what and great baby she is.

We found this adorable statue that looked a lot like someone we knew
Seth loved all the FossilsSeth had a great time but the girls didn't love it has much. They were cold, it was a little chilly and I didn't think to being jackets. So we decided to go and get some lunch and head over to Times Square. We decided to take the Subway :)

At Toy-r-us

We made it back home safe and sound and pretty proud of ourselves for surviving a day in the city.
