I haven't made a news years resolution in a long time. I just don't believe in them. Honestly, how often to they ever get accomplished and then as women we beat ourselves up over it and feel guilty for years to come. So, I gave up on them awhile ago. I try to improve myself slowly and make goals on a short term bases like weekly or even hourly (I really have to keep in mind the short term). However, this year I have made a goal...I do realize that it is February but who really counts January anyway. I decided that I am really going to try and eat healthier and to feed my family healthier. For most of you that read this you know that I am a horrible picky eater and have been so since birth. Fortunately in my "older" age I am learning to like a lot of things I NEVER thought I would. So as I was realizing that we have NO food in our fridge and junk in our cupboard I was embarrassed to think that this is what my kids had been living off of aka Cheetos, chips and Mac n' cheese. So I have decided to make a change! Wish me luck and if you have any ideas on a delicious meal for us to try Please let me know.

I have a few really good recipes that are pretty healthy. You can also go to allrecipe.com. I get a ton from there.
Lets not start eating healthy until after the cruise.

Okay I am so glad to hear that there is another mom in the world that has found out that if you do not shower before 6 AM. I just might not happen! Being home full time has been an adjustment to say the least. Thanks for keeping it real.

That's a prestigious goal! I wish you luck with it. I have the recipe book, "Deceptively Delicious" if you want to borrow it. It is based on healthy recipes for families.
